FRITH

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Frith ("Frith", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our websites, the Frith attorney/firm application, and the Frith Clients consumer application (together, the "Services"). It applies to legal professionals, law firms, and individual clients/consumers who use the Services.

By using the Services you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, account credentials, profile details, firm/organization information, matter and case information, documents and files you upload, messages you send, and support requests.

Information collected automatically: device identifiers, push-notification tokens, app version and settings, IP address, log and diagnostic data, crash reports, and usage analytics.

Information from third parties: authentication and identity providers, and service providers that help us operate the Services (see Data Sharing below).

We do not require in-app payment information — billing and subscriptions are handled on our website.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
  • Authenticate you and protect your account
  • Deliver push notifications you have enabled
  • Connect clients with attorneys for document review and questions, where you request it
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. AI and Your Data — Not Used to Train Models

We do not use your confidential client data, documents, or queries to train AI models. AI features process your input only to generate the requested output for you. On-device processing (such as text recognition and translation) is performed locally on your device where indicated.

5. Attorney–Client Privilege and Confidentiality

We treat matter content and communications as confidential. Frith is a platform provider and is not a party to the attorney–client relationship. Attorneys remain responsible for their professional and ethical obligations, including the preservation of privilege.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material breaches where required by law.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only with: (a) service providers who process data on our behalf under contract (e.g., cloud hosting, push notifications, analytics, error reporting); (b) the attorney or client you choose to communicate with through the Services; and (c) authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account (see below), we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below or use the in-app Delete Account option.

10. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time directly in either app:

  • Frith (attorney/firm): Settings → Delete Account
  • Frith Clients: More → Delete Account

Deleting your account permanently removes or anonymizes your personal profile data and signs you out of all devices. This action cannot be undone. Certain records may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes. Firm billing and matter records managed by an organization may be governed by that organization's own retention obligations. You may also request deletion by emailing privacy@getfrith.com.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
