1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Frith websites, the Frith attorney/firm application, or the Frith Clients consumer application (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Service
Frith provides software for legal practice management and for connecting individual clients with legal information and, where requested, licensed attorneys. Frith is a technology platform and is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice (see Disclaimer below).
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be of legal age to form a binding contract. Attorney/firm accounts are provisioned on our website; the attorney app is sign-in only. Client accounts may be created in the Frith Clients app. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
4. Professional and Legal Disclaimer
The Services, including AI-generated content, do not constitute legal advice and do not create an attorney–client relationship with Frith. Any attorney–client relationship formed through the Services is solely between you and the attorney. Do not rely on the Services as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
5. Billing and Subscriptions
Any paid plans, subscriptions, or service fees are purchased and managed on our website (frithai.com), not within the mobile apps. The apps contain no in-app purchases. Where you engage an attorney for a paid service, payment is processed through our website.
6. Acceptable Use and User Content
You agree not to use the Services to upload, send, or share unlawful, infringing, harassing, abusive, or objectionable content, or to harm or harass any person. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may report objectionable content or users from within the app, and we will review reports and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a license to host and process it to provide the Services.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services and their content (excluding your content) are owned by Frith and its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Services except as permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services
The Services integrate third-party providers (e.g., cloud hosting, notifications, maps). Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' terms.
9. Warranties and Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frith will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Services or AI-generated content.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Frith against claims arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Frith is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with an updated date.
